I am a big fan of sunburst and convex mirrors, there one of those timeless decorative elements that will never go out of style.

Sunburst mirrors are made to give off a sun like reflection and are a great new source of light in any room. The cool thing about them is you can use a single one or lots of them depending on how much light you want to fill a room with.

I love this dramatic display of the different shapes and sizes of gold sunburst and federal convex mirrors. The brown painted walls are a nice paint choose to help calm down the gold mirrors in this space, and of course a fabulous zebra print chair ties in the space so beautifully.

Below are convex mirrors and sunburst mirrors I found that are a variety of different price points to choose from. Also those of you looking to tackle fun DIY Project, I found a wonderful project from Addicted 2 Decorating below that Im dying to try one of these days. And if non of these mirrors are what you want, I would suggest try scouring eBay, Craigslist and your local flea markets for a vintage find.

There not gold but theres always the option of spray painting them gold to re-create the same look.

A great DIY project idea from Addicted 2 Decorating. This sunburst mirror is made out of wood and on the plus side of making your own mirror, you have the option of painting it or not. I like the natural look, it gives this mirror more character and uniqueness.
